Social Services Statistics aims to gain knowledge on the offer of social services and benefits, specialised and basic, both in their quantity and quality dimensions, and the characteristics of their users and beneficiaries. Without forgetting the multiple flows that arise from the particular division of responsibilities and the diversity of agents that actively participate in the world of the Social Services, such that it is possible to obtain a global vision of the system (dependencies, financing flows, etc.).
The information included in this operation cover some of the aspects considered in the Agreement on the subject of information about Social Action and Services between the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Department of Employment and Social Security of the Basque Government on July 11th 1988. It specifically refers to F1 records of centres and services (referring to centres) and F2 on agencies, of the Social Action and Social Services Statistics (E.A.S.S.S.). Consequently, homogenisation of technical criteria will be met in order to ensure the necessary supply of data to the Central Administration and achieve the information objectives of the Autonomous Community.
Maximum level of spatial disaggregation: municipal.
