The analysis of the demographic dynamism of the population and its evolution over time rests on the implementation of demographic statistical operations whose main update sources are the Civil Registers, a census-type administrative register. The Marriage Statistics (EMAT), included in the group known as Population Movement, update the information on marriages contracted by residents of the Basque Country, regardless of where they took place.
